Cut out a white heart for the dog’s face and two pink hearts for the ears. Glue them on as well as the pom-poms and a pink paper tongue! Add the googly eyes and he’s ready to go!
Rainbow craft sticks makes this a mess free and super easy craft for kids to create.
Cut out two cloud shapes the same size from a white foam sheet. Use tacky glue to glue a red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple craft stick in a line at the bottom of one of your cloud shapes.
Then line up and glue the second cloud on top of the other.
Add some personality to the rainbow craft by adding self-adhesive googly eyes in the middle of the cloud and then give your cloud a cute smile with a black marker.
Let dry and enjoy!

Glue the 2 black circles onto the middle of the white eyes from the template.
Glue the orange nose onto the bottom of the eyes, with about 1/3 of the nose overlapping the eyes.
Trace Cookie Monster’s mouth onto the black card stock and cut out. Use the .5″ circle punch or scissors to cut out 2 eyes from the black card stock.
Assemble Cookie Monster’s eyes by gluing one black circle to the top left part of the white eye. Glue the other black circle to the bottom right part of the white eye. This will give Cookie his signature silly look.
Arrange the blue handprint with the fingers pointing down. Glue the completed eyes to the top of the handprint. Attach the smile with glue just beneath Cookie’s eyes.
A little wisdom goes a long way. I have made it a habit to have a healthy mind, body, and spirit, so every Wednesday I would like to share with you some wisdom that has helped me. Enjoy
Today’s Quote:
“You cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight “
Life can come at you so fast that you may feel as if you are losing control or being drowned by the experience, but I would like to encourage you to hold on. Take a deep breath and use this opportunity to ask God what you should be doing next. “ HELP” is a strong enough prayer when talking to God. Seek the right direction when the destination (as it often does) changes and watch God guide your mind and heart into the next step you should take.
Here is a quote to motivate and bring a smile to your face. Parenting can be hard, tune into this blog and find out possitive ways to keep life interesting and calm!
It’s not only children who grow. Parents do, too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself
As a parent or guardian, if you want personal time you must master having a schedule! Schedules may seem daunting and tedious, but it will allow you to be intentional about time with your little genius and time with yourself. A schedule does not have to be complex, simply outline what time you play, sleep, go on outings and eat. Setting these simple boundaries will introduce peace into your day and consistency into the day of your little genius.
