Here is a quote to motivate and bring a smile to your face. Parenting can be hard, tune into this blog and find out possitive ways to keep life interesting and calm!
It’s not only children who grow. Parents do, too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it myself
Crafts are a fun way to get personal with your little one. It is an intentional time to be silly, messy, and creative!
As parents we are always directing and instructing. It is good to show your little genius that you too can follow directions and have fun. During craft time, let your little one lead the way. When you take time to do fun things with your little genius, you are teaching them that life is fun!
Below I have posted a craft for you and your little genius. If you do the craft be sure to comment and post a picture!

Paper Roll Animals
Toilet paper rolls or paper towel rolls cut down to a shorter length
Paint – we used acrylic
Cardboard from a cereal box or something similar
Black Sharpie marker
Glue – Tacky Glue is a good choice
First, paint your cardboard tubes a solid color. Tan, brown, and white are good color choices.
Attach the eyes, ears, and nose with glue.
Then cut out paws and a tail from cereal box cardboard. Paint them, and then add pads to the paws with a Sharpie marker.
Glue on the paws and the tail, and your doggie is complete!
I would like to take today to honor all forms of mothers! My hat goes off to the Biological, Surrogate, Adoptive, Auntie Mother, Stepmom’s, Single Mothers, Foster Mothers, Coaches, Teachers, and More!
Thank you to all who has mothered. The world benefits and grows from you love, care, and selfless support. We know that motherhood goes far beyond the ability to get pregnant and bare a child. Motherhood is the decision to put children and their wellbeing before yourself. Thank you, Mothers, Thank you!
In the same way that a mother gains new life as they learn of pregnancy. An entrepreneur also gains a new wind creating a business.
Personally, I have opened an early learning academy and let
me be the one to tell you this has been no easy journey!! You can plan for
years but there is nothing like owning your own business, you know with rent… employees…
and most of all customers. Turning my sign from closed to open was scary
because I didn’t know what I would be like as the owner of my baby dream.
I had a similar feeling when the doctor looked at me and said that I could go home with my child. While I was excited to go home, I was scared! I wanted to give my child every great, beautiful, and loving thing worthy of the majestic life I was trusted with. I wanted to be knowledgeable, caring, and incredible as a parent, and that same intention is how I opened the early learning academy. I wanted to present my community with the best, owning a business at the age of 32 I became the parent of a fulfilled dream, but opening my business even being a parent with intention was difficult and pleasant.
Join me on my owners journey I will share the truth about
living your dream. I am a mother, wife, sister, friend…. And entrepreneur.
