Forgiveness Friday

Are you ready to forgive?

One of the greatest reasons why I extend forgiveness to the people around me is because I am honest about how flawed I am.

When I was younger, I would battle with the idea that I do so many things wrong. I always had a reason or logical explanation as to why I made a mistake or let someone down. I would never admit that I had messed up or did something wrong. For example:

“if the person driving in front of me would go faster, I wouldn’t be late”

“if you would just mature, I would be able to be honest with you”

If you make a mistake, no matter what the explanation is that follows, you must ask for forgiveness. The word of God is says to ask for forgiveness every day.

We serve a God who wants us to come to Him with our troubles and our problem so that He can exchange our issues with His provision and grace.

If we do not learn how to acknowledge our wrong doings, then we are saying that there is no need for a savior. Everyone makes mistakes, its time we learn to turn those mistakes over to the only one who can fix them. God.

Forgiveness Friday

As we journey into 2019 we must acknowledge the past highs and lows of 2018.

It’s time to say Bon voyage to past mistakes, relationships, and failures. It’s 2019 and the first person we will forgive this year is ourselves! While society tells us to throw away the negative things I say welcome them. Use them as a building block to say either ” I will not do that again” or ” I will not be that again.” Do not leave the unsettled attributes of a past year around for the dog to pick up and bring to you later. Sweep up the smiles, tears, laughs, and pain and put them up appropriately. You deserve to be forgiven, choose today to forgive yourself for last year! SLiM

Forgiveness Friday:

Hello Everyone, here is a prayer for forgiveness:

Heavenly Father, I (we) come to You now in the Name of my (our) Lord
and Savior Christ Jesus, I (we) make a joyful shout to You, we come
before Your Presence with singing, and we enter into Your gates with
thanksgiving, and into Your courts with praise. Lord throughout this
prayer and throughout this day I pray for myself(ourselves) and the
following people _____, _____, _____, and _____ .
Forgiveness of Sin Prayer
Heavenly Father qwshave mercy on me/us, our children and grandchildren, our friends and
family and the people we have prayed for and according to Your loving
kindness, and according to the multitude of Your tender mercies blot out
all our transgressions, and wash us totally from our iniquities and cleanse
us from our sins. For we do acknowledge our transgressions and our sin
is always before us, and against You and You only have we sinned and
have done this evil in Your sight. That You may be found just when You
speak and blameless when You judge. Behold we were brought forth in
iniquity and in sin our mother conceived us, and behold You desire truth
in the inward parts, in the hidden parts You will make us to know
wisdom. Purge us with hyssop, we shall be clean, wash us and we shall
be whiter than snow. Make us to know Your joy and gladness that the
bones that You have broken may rejoice and hide Your face from our
sins, and blot out our iniquities. Create in us a clean heart O God and
renew a steadfast spirit within us and do not cast us away from Your
Presence. Please do not take Your Holy Spirit from us but restore to us
the joy of Your salvation and uphold us by Your generous Spirit that we
would be able to teach transgressors Your ways and sinners can be
converted to You. Deliver us from any blood guiltiness, God of our
salvation, and our tongue shall sing aloud of Your Righteousness. Lord
open our lips and our mouths shall show forth Your praise. For God does
not desire sacrifice or else we would give it, God doesn’t delight in burnt
offerings. The acceptable sacrifices of God are a humble spirit, a broken
and contrite heart. These God will not despise. Do good in Your good
pleasure to Zion. Build thou the walls of Jerusalem, then Lord, You will
be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness. I (we) humble myself
(ourselves) in complete repentance before You. I/we ask you to forgive
me (or us) for any unforgiveness, unrighteousness, fornication,
wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, envy, murder, deceit, hatred,
whispering, backbiting, despitefulness, pride, boasters, inventors of evil
things, disobedient to parents, being without understanding, covenant
breaker(s), without natural affection, homosexuality, unmerciful,
injustices, whoredoms, bitterness, evil, evil reasoning, murmuring, doing
evil, with no covenant, no love and no peace, argumentative and causing
strife. Oh Lord, I/We ask You to forgive each of us of our sins,
transgressions, iniquities, trespasses, unforgiveness, approving the sins of
others, and I/we ask You to cover those sins with the blood of Jesus
Christ. Father I/we truly repent for our sins

Forgiveness Friday

Here is a Prayer for Forgiving others:

Heavenly Father, I forgive anyone who has ever wronged me or hurt me
or cursed me or lied to me or prayed witchcraft prayers over me and I
bless them in the Name of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father I ask You to
forgive me for any unforgiveness, any bitterness, any anger, any strife,
any animosity, and any resentment that I have in my heart toward anyone
at this time, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Ok, guys its that time again. It’s time to learn the power of forgiveness!

What is there to gain by learning how to forgive? Here are some benefits of forgivenesss:

  • Healthier relationships.
  • Improved mental health.
  • Less anxiety, stress, and hostility.

When you are able to move past a mistake someone has made against you, you then open a new door that is elevated past the experience and welcomes you into a world of development and maturity. You are now saying to the world that you can not be held captive to past pains and circumstance.

This New Freedom exudes love not only in your work relationships, or school, but in your personal relationships as well. You no longer have to be stressed by things that happened to you or feel hostile about the things that happened around you. You now become a person who holds the key to every door you wish to walk through. Instead of feeling like you’re being dragged through every door that life throws at you.

Remember. Forgiveness equals freedom. Stop by next week and learn the steps of forgiveness.

Forgiveness Friday

Matt 18: 35: So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Refusing to forgive is a sin. If we receive forgiveness from God, we must give it to others who hurt us. We cannot hold grudges or seek revenge. We are to trust God for justice and forgive the person who offended us.

That does not mean we must forget the offense, however, usually, that’s beyond our power.

An unforgiving, vengeful, or bitter spirit will not only affect you and those around you, but it will also separate you from the blessing of God. Therefore you must forgive others no matter what the offense.

Thank you Pastor Pat Buckley for putting this transformative information online.

To get a prayer to help with forgiveness come back next week!

A #real relationship

When you choose to be in relationship with God you are making the decision to transform YOUR life into an Our life. Meaning that you now consider God in everything you do. You are now living a life that isn’t solely about you, but one that advances the kingdom of God because in God you are now royalty.

Do you consider God? Know the interest of God… Care about what’s on the heart of God? If not, it’s time to step it up in the relationship. Be attentive, loving , and caring in your relationship with God. It’s not too late, today intentionally press your ear to the heart of God. Ask Him what he wants from you today… And see that His desires for you are greater than you could have ever imagined. Selah

Who you with?

I was watching an interview, and Oprah quotes Mya Angelo saying – “I come as 1 but stand as 10,000” this poem immediately mirrored a scripture I have been speaking as a little girl 1 John 4:4 “Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.”

What does all that mean, it means that you are the result of two thousand and seventeen years of strength and possibility. I am here because my mother made it through labor, her mother made it through civil rights, her mother made it through slavery, our father made it through the persecution of His Son for the redemption of our sins. You and I are not haphazardly existing. We are here because we stand on the shoulders of those who have persevered before us.

Today may be difficult, but you and I are here for a reason. We exist because of sacrifice and purpose. What has happened today, this month or even this year cannot diminish your victory unless you allow it?  You are already a part of a legacy of winners, I’m here to tell you don’t stop now! Don’t change the narrative from success to failure because things aren’t going your way.

Choose to stand with the triumphant. Choose to see the success of those who came before you even if you can’t stand on your own success today. When pain, disappointment, and anguish trying to get in bed with you, get out of those covers and choose to stand on the side of victory.  Because my friend whether you know it or not… you were made to be a winner.
