Like an ocean, the perception of self-flaws clashes and evolves with age, experience and time.

No one feels confident all the time, capable all of the time, committed all of the time… so what do you do when the tides change?

My advice is to set up reminders of your best self during a high tide while you are feeling motivated and refreshed. Cut out pictures, journal or even record a positive reminder of who you want to be and what you want out of life. The bible says, “make the vision clear.” While the journey can be unpredictable, there is a substantial benefit to adding intention into the recipe of life.

Having a vision will remind your flesh that low moments are temporal but the work you do now has the power to reconstruct your future.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 King James Version (KJV)

“2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
