I want you introduce you to Michael Nelder. This piece, “Dirty Prayers” from poet Michael Nelder closed out #RHETORIC2018. The piece was so moving, as he delicately shared the confessions of his prayer life with the audience. This piece is a suggestion to critically think about the prayers we pray on an individual level and what they say about our hearts. It is a beautiful examination of how gratitude can inform our prayers.
